Kim was raised in Lenexa, KS and moved to Peoria, IL in 2002. She currently resides in Metamora, IL wither her husband and son.

What change has impacted the field of cancer the most since you began your nursing career?
“The development of targeted therapies that allow for more personalized cancer treatments.”
Why did you choose oncology/hematology?
“I was looking for a challenging position in an ever-changing field of medicine where I could help a variety of people.”
Do you have any advice to give patients after they have been diagnosed with cancer?
“Ask questions and become educated about your cancer.” |
