James B. Gerstner, M.D. (Retired 2007)

Dr. Gerstner was born in Peoria, Illinois.
He attended the University of Illinois College of Medicine and did his internship and residency in internal medicine at LaCrosse Lutheran Hospital.
Dr. Gerstner then served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps as Chief, Department of Medicine, at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
He has also completed a hematology fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota.
He is board certified in internal medicine as well as hematology.
Dr. Gerstner has served on the teaching staffs of both Mayo Medical School and the Peoria School of Medicine.
Dr. Gerstner retired in 2007. |
